For many who hold hip-hop history closer to their heart, a throwback picture is always appreciated. We previously saw Irv Gotti harken back to a time in which he rolled alongside DMX and Jay-Z, triggering feelings of nostalgia in golden era aficionados. Though the aforementioned trifecta largely rose to popularity in the late nineties, another trifecta was taking over the scene in 1996. The legendary Snoop Dogg recently shared a picture of himself, MC Hammer, and the legendary Tupac Shakur, dressed for the nines at what seems like the high-end event.

Pac fans know that 1996 was obviously an important year for the particular Pac, who passed away that September. Yet just before his murder, Pac dropped off his classic All Eyez On Me album, which would finally be his last official project. The album featured fellow Death Row rapper Snoop Dogg, who came out on tracks like “2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted” and “All Bout U. ”

Respect to Snoop Dogg and MC Hammer for sharing this, even though it goes without saying, rest in peace Tupac Shakur.
